Education That Makes a Difference

Cultural Sharing Program

Sharing Cultures Series

There are hundreds of special days that are set aside to recognize holidays, cultural days and festivals around the world. There is no possible way to acknowledge all of these days, but we would like to allow you to share your culture in a meaningful way.

ur hope has been that students, faculty, and staff will custom tailor and design this Sharing Culture Series. It is meant to be a medium where you can satisfy your desire to share yourself and your culture, as well as help us to creatively educate Niagara’s campus community about you.

This year we had the pleasure of traveling to Mexico and seeing it through the eyes of a young boy who dreamed of going to school in the United States. Although we actually never left the Gallagher Center, freshman Erick Garcia brilliantly toured us through the successes and struggles of life as a child in Mexico, and how he used success in tennis to make his dream come true.
