Alpha Phi Sigma, the national criminal justice honor society, was chartered to make criminal justice professions and practitioners more effective, to inspire a just pride in their work, and to apply scientific practices and techniques within the criminal justice field. Membership is open to students majoring in criminal justice at the university with a GPA of 3.5, senior class status and have completed four or more criminal justice courses.
The Omega Rho is the Niagara University Chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma. Students with minimum GPA requirments are contacted during the spring semester of their senior year.
