Please note that these eqivalencies are based on a generic major and there are a number of majors which require specific courses. For space reasons, the generic General Education distribution courses are lumped into discipline based categories. It is possible that some other disciplines and courses may fulfill such requirements.

For All Courses

  • Placement is determined in the appropriate Dean's Office based on Niagara University Guidelines
  • Courses must be at least 3 credits with a grade of C or better to transfer.  Pass/fail grades or those with a C- grade or lower cannot be transferred.
  • A maximum of 10 courses can be transferred into the major side of the curriculum card.
  • Major discipline courses cannot fulfill general education requirements or free electives.

Advised Electives 3 credit courses outside of OR including your major discipline that do not satisfy any general education or major requirements. Often these include extra major courses such as internships or Co-ops, double major courses, minor courses, or extra transfer courses unable to fit in the free electives.
