Maria graduated from NU with a master's degree in mental health counseling and currently works as a mental health counselor in NU's Office of Counseling Services. Maria also earned her B.A. in sociology from Alfred University and a M.A. in sociology from Yale.
Maria's areas of expertise include utilizing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy theories and techniques as well as working from a strengths based perspective. Maria is experienced in individual, group and family therapies.
