Dr. Wilber joined the faculty in 2003. She has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of South Florida and Master of Business Administration from the University of South Florida. Dr. Wilber completed her doctoral education in 2005 from the University of South Florida with a major in Finance.
Dr. Wilber’s primary research and teaching interests include corporate finance, behavioral finance, investments, repurchases and mergers and acquisitions. She has two papers under review entitled “When is a Repurchase Announcement not Good News?” and “Why do Firms Repurchase shares to make Acquisitions?”.
She is a member of the Financial Management Association. She enjoys visiting local high schools and making financial education presentations. Dr. Wilber is the current advisor of the Niagara University student chapter of the Financial Management Association.
