Mar 18 - 21, 2010 : Baby with the Bathwater

With the arrival of spring, NU Theatre presents the delightfully wacky "Baby with the Bathwater" by Christopher Durang. This laugh out-loud comedy is about surviving parental dysfunction. Directed by Gregory Fletcher, director of Niagara University Theatre, the comedy introduces first-time parents, Helen and John, who are extremely disappointed that their newborn baby doesn't speak English and they are too polite to check its sex-and this is just in scene one. Later, as their child Daisy grows up, Daisy quickly realizes that he-yes, he-must break life patterns before repeating them. But, as always with Durang, stopping the madness is next to impossible. The comedy is as outrageous, dark, and twisted as audiences have come to expect and appreciate from Christopher Durang. For tickets and information, call the box office voice message hotline at 716-286-8685 and we will contact you.
