Transfer Course Equivalencies

Please note that these eqivalencies are based on a generic major and there are a number of majors which require specific courses.  Before reviewing the chart below, we recommend also printing out the curriculum card for your intended major, which includes such additional information.  To find such information for majors outside of the College of Arts & Sciences, click here.

For space reasons, the generic General Education distribution courses are lumped into discipline based categories. It is possible that some other disciplines and courses may fulfill such requirements. If you have specific questions about courses outside of those disciplines, please contact us.

FOR ALL COURSES:

  • Placement is determined in the appropriate Dean's Office based on Niagara University Guidelines
  • Courses must be at least 3 credits with a grade of C or better to transfer.  Pass/fail grades or those with a C- grade or lower cannot be transferred.
  • A maximum of 10 courses can be transferred into the major side of the curriculum card.
  • Major discipline courses cannot fulfill general education requirements or free electives.
  • Course numbers or credits may change so please contact us if you have a question.
