Contacting your advisor for advisement (This varies by department)

Web Advisor or Records?

    • Your initial registration at NU must be done through the Records Office.
    • Once you have signed your registration/advisement form with your advisor, your advisor can unlock you for web registration through MyNUYou cannot register online unless you have met with your advisor and been unlocked.
    • You must update your profile before registering & check your registration holds.
    • Alternatively you can take the signed registration/advisement form to Records to register. Use this method if you have trouble registering online.
    • Independent Studies, Honor's Theses, and some Coops and Internships require individual contracts (A&S Forms)

Senior Check & Graduation

    • When you complete approximately 80 credits you will need to schedule an appointment in the Dean's office for a Senior Check which will assist you in identifying your remaining requirements for graduation.
