Student Faculty Research Collaborations

The following is an ongoing list of collaborative research projects between Students and Faculty in the College of Arts & Sciences. Talk to your advisor or faculty to see how to get involved in these activities.

If you are a student or faculty member invovled in collaborative research, please email jps@niagara.edu if you wish to have a summary of your collaboration listed below.

  • DiY (do-it-yourself) Punk and Social Activism

        with Dr. Ken Culton (2006-2007)

This collaboration is in the early stages of a study on DiY (do-it-yourself) punk and social activism in suburban Los Angeles. Currently the student is reading several books and articles under the direction of Dr. Culton while he prepares his research methodology. He has also begun to collect preliminary data during his regular visits home from Niagara. We look forward to seeing the outcome of this collaboration.
