The College of Arts & Sciences has a tradition of academic excellence and is noted for outstanding Faculty who engage students in active learning. Niagara students find our faculty to be dynamic and approachable.  90+% of our seniors indicated that the quality of teaching is excellent, professors are very knowledgeable, caring, and supportive.

While pursuing outstanding research of their own, our faculty are strong advocates of collaborative student-faculty research, something recently recognized by the Council on Undergraduate Research. Our faculty regularly sponsor student research at national and regional conferences, engage students in the laboratory, work with student on grant funded research, and each year several faculty jointly publish with their students.

Each semester, student checks are offered to help students stay on track for graduation, identify flexibility within their programs, and answer advisement questions.
