Professor Laurence R. Boxer
Ph.D., Mathematics, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Dr. Boxer teaches programming languages, algorithms and data structures, and "computer literacy." His research interests are in parallel algorithms, computational geometry, digital topology, and fundamental problems of pattern recognition. He is also Research Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at SUNY - Buffalo. Dr. Boxer was recognized as Outstanding Faculty Researcher by the College of Arts and Sciences in 1993. He also chairs the Niagara University Engineering Program.

Associate Professor Steven D. Seilheimer

Mr. Seilheimer teaches databases, systems analysis, and business applications. A Certified Systems Professional specializing in Systems Development, he is President of Data Systems and Concepts, a computer consulting firm with clients in a variety of business sectors.

Dr. Wagner teaches business applications, databases, and computer programming. She was the principal designer of the Computer Crime minor program. Research Professor William L. Boeck
Ph.D., Physics, University of Notre Dame
Dr. Boeck is retired from the teaching faculty, but continues his affiliation with the University as a researcher.
Dr. Boeck is a distinguished investigator of lightning phenomena. Among his activities is the study of massive image databases of photos taken by satellites of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Dr. Boeck has made major contributions to the world's knowledge of knowledge of the lightning phenomena known as sprites, jets, and elves. For this research, Dr. Boeck was recognized as Outstanding Faculty Researcher by the College of Arts and Sciences in 2000. Sr. Martha Ann (AKA John Frances) Gilman, Professor Emerita
PhD, Mathematics, St. Louis University
Since retiring from Niagara University, Sr. Martha Ann (former Professor and Chair of CIS and, before that, Professor of Mathematics; winner of the 1991 Arts and Sciences faculty award for Excellence in Service), has remained active professionally. From 1991 to 2005, she worked in Boston, as an information technology staffer at Laboure College, and as a software instructor at the Caritas Christi Hospitals in Boston. She is now working for the Ascension Health System in the Albany-Troy area as a software instructor.
