Come May 2001, I will have completed two years at Olin Chemical Corporation in a computer co-op position. With the help of the Career Development Center at Niagara University, I built a professional standing resume and applied to Olin. My job here is one of four "Help Desk Technicians" who respond to on-site PC repairs.

Olin has brought nothing but positive reinforcement to my career in CIS. I have had the privilege of working with Jack R. Chapman, who has encouraged a sense responsibility and a drive for new and upcoming technologies. We currently oversee 210 accounts (including in-plant PCs, home PCs, laptops), with various operating systems (Win 95, 98, NT, 2000). The Olin Niagara Falls site works with 7 servers (and expanding), some of which run NT or Exchange 5.5. I have obtained Intranet experience (using FrontPage 98) and various software skills dealing with Documentum, CompuServe, SAP, and Office Professional 97 and 2000. By obtaining these business skills, I have increased my career options after Niagara University.
