Certification Examinations Pass Rates
Niagara University has program approval by the New York State Education Department to offer programs leading to New York State certification in early childhood education, childhood education, middle childhood education, adolescence education (English, Mathematics, Social Studies, Biology, Chemistry, French and Spanish), teaching English to speakers of other languages, teaching students with disabilities (grades 1-6 and 7-12), literacy (birth – grade 6 and grades 5 – 12) school building leader, school district leader.
In addition, Niagara University’s College of Education is accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), 2010 Massachusetts Ave. NW, Suite 500, Washington, DC 20036.
