- Description:

Curling is a fascinating winter sport that provides adults with physical activity in a social setting. Curling became an official Olympic sport in 1998, is often described as shuffleboard on ice, and involves four people on a team. This course is intended for Americans and Canadians from the Niagara area, and will be taught by both American and Canadian instructors. Come out and learn the rules of the game, basic delivery and sweeping instruction, what makes a rock curl, why people sweep, and make some new friends while you're at it. Students should wear warm, layered, loose-fitting clothing, gloves, and carry in dry sneakers. Be sure to give yourself adequate time and have appropriate identification for border crossing.
