2 Day Professional Development Training

Explore the foundation for understanding what Geographic Information System (GIS) is, what it can do, and how others are using it. Learn the basic functions of a GIS, why a GIS database is so powerful, and why mapping is important. With hands on exercises, you work with geographic data, create maps, and solve geographic problems using a systematic approach. Designed specifically for people new to GIS and ArcGIS, infrequent users of ArcGIS and participants who do not have a GIS background.
