Offers 10% discount on auto insurance Niagara University offers defensive driving courses in association with the New York Safety Program. Completing the course entitles you to a 10 percent discount on your automobile insurance premiums in New York state. The Department of Motor Vehicles will also deduct up to four points from your driving record if points were assigned in the last 18 months. Certain restrictions apply to the point reduction privilege.Instructors: NYSP certified teachers.
