Are you ready for Barbecue Season? Would you like to learn to cook competition style BBQ at home? Do you need a great gift for Dad for Father's Day? Get ready for the BBQ season by learning the tips and tricks from local award winners Rob and Honcho from Smokin' Eagles BBQ Join the Smokin' Eagles BBQ Team to learn how to cook competition style BBQ ribs from start to finish. This hands-on class will teach you how to select the perfect rack of ribs, trim them, and prepare them for smoking. You will also learn seasoning options, cooking techniques, recipes, and food safety. Bring your questions and your appetite. We will sample the ribs at the end of the demonstration!
Instructors: Smokin' Eagles Championship BBQ- Robert Giordano and Roy "Honcho" Gregory. Robert is a member of the National Barbecue Association as well as the Hearth, Patio and Barbecue Association and is a Certified BBQ Judge. Like Robert, Honcho got his desire to cook outdoors from family activities and as a second generation volunteer firefighter. Now a certified bbq judge, a Kansas City BBQ Society and Western New York Chapter of the International Dutch Oven Society member and organizer of "Smokin Eagles International BBQ Festival" and the "Old Falls Street Rib fest".
