Located in St. Vincent’s Hall, Room 107, the Center for the Advancement of Scholarship, Teaching and Learning (CASTL) is an inviting space overlooking the beautiful Niagara River Gorge.
CASTL offers faculty, staff, and administration a warm and welcoming place for colleagues to meet and collaborate, or for individuals to complete work and relax. The conference space is also available to be reserved for meetings.
The resource library located in CASTL has a large collection of literature focused on higher education topics, and current issues of The Chronicle of Higher Education are also available. Books in the library can be reserved either by visiting CASTL or visiting our electronic library and emailing firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your book(s). If requested through email, Instructional Support will send your book(s) through interoffice mail to your office.
In addition, CASTL has a brand new technology training lab for faculty, staff, and administration. The technology training lab contains 15 computers, a SMART Board, and a teaching station. The technology lab is available to be reserved for training at Niagara University.
