The Niagara University Future Teachers Association (NUFTA) is comprised of undergraduate and graduate students preparing to be teachers.

The objectives of NUFTA include:

To provide a common meeting ground for students of the Niagara University education programs.

To further an interest and understanding of the field of teaching.

To provide another avenue of preparation for those entering the teaching field through our many activities.

To help promote and improve the education programs at Niagara University.

To provide an opportunity for students to ask questions about the education program.

NUFTA offers many activities and events to its members including:

Workshops and panels on interesting and important educationally related topics

Social activities for members to gather outside of an academic arena

Movie showings of films related to the education field

Opportunities for leadership through serving as a club officer or committee chairperson

Membership is open at the beginning of each semester.  For more information about the Niagara University Future Teachers Association and how you can get involved, visit the education office located in the basement of O'Shea Hall, room B14.
