The Niagara University Future Teachers
Association (NUFTA) is comprised of undergraduate and graduate students preparing to be
teachers.
The objectives of NUFTA include:
To provide a common meeting ground for students
of the Niagara University education programs.
To further an interest and understanding of the
field of teaching.
To provide another avenue of preparation for
those entering the teaching field through our many activities.
To help promote and improve the education
programs at Niagara University.
To provide an opportunity for students to ask
questions about the education program.
NUFTA offers many activities and
events to its members including:
Workshops and panels on interesting and
important educationally related topics
Social activities for members to gather outside
of an academic arena
Movie showings of films related to the
education field
Opportunities for leadership through serving as
a club officer or committee chairperson
Membership is open at the beginning of each
semester. For more information about the Niagara University Future Teachers

basement of O'Shea Hall, room B14.
