New Student Orientation Mission Statement

The Niagara University New Student Orientation Program supports new students in their transition to university life on campus.  The primary goal for Orientation is to provide various opportunities for new students to learn about college from current student leaders that serve as Orientation Assistants (OAs), Niagara staff, and the campus community.  Many of the programs within orientation are designed specifically to help new students connect with each other so they can begin to make friends and be comfortable with their surroundings.

New Student Orientation Goals

• Assist incoming students with their transition to college life at Niagara

• Help incoming students meet their peers

• To have new students have direct involvement and participation in the Orientation activities and encourage interaction with each other

• Have FUN!
