On-Campus Artwork Loan:

The Castellani Art Museum provides artwork loans to offices and buildings on campus. Please call #8200 to find more about on-campus artwork loans.  the museum hosts a "come and choose" open house for this purpose every year.

University Event/Reception Rental Policy:

The Museum is a beautiful showcase for Niagara University and a popular location for special events. We are pleased to assist you in any way we can. Keep in mind that the museum has a busy schedule of public events which place restrictions on the use of some spaces. There are several points we consider before giving approval:

• The Museum's schedule of exhibitions and events
• Contractual insurance agreements for loaned artwork
• Studio/classroom schedule
• Availability of staff
• Educational purpose of the event or occasion
• The relationship of the event or occasion to the mission of both the University and the museum
• Endangerment to artwork and/or security
• Interference with public access. The event application must be approved by both the Museum Director and the University President.

Applicant Responsibility:

1. Order equipment/services required for your event including the followings:

• Food Service ( must use the University Food Service Catering Service): Catering Manger, Tom Link (716.286.8399)
• Facility Services (Chairs, tables and other equipment): Work Order Line 716.286.8410.
• Media Resource Service: Work Order Line716.286.8470
• Please do not make any arrangements until your event is approved.

2. Clean up:

• It must be completed after each event and before the museum's open hours.
• You must make arrangements with facility Services, including payment to,:1. to clean the bathroom, 2. Put down of tables and chairs, and 3. Mop floors

How to Apply:

If you would like us to fax an event request form to you, please call Joan Dolce, Office Coordinator at 716.286.8288 and ask for the event request form.

Please give us at least 3 - 4 weeks notice. We do not garantee that all event requests will be approved. A rental fee is required. If you have any questions, please call Office Coordinator at 716.286.8288.
