Each week, from July 22 – August 15, 2008 kids ’n artssummer campwill provide your children with an enriching art and theatre experience unlike any other camp! Campers will spend mornings creating a number of exciting art projects inspired by the museum’s rich art collection, followed by afternoons of storytelling, theatre games, and performing. Your children will have the benefit of working with faculty and students from Niagara University’s Theatre Department, teaching artists and professionals from the Castellani Art Museum, and special guests, including NURT (Niagara University Repertory Theatre) and a troupe of professional clowns!
The cost per child is just $150 each week.* A latch key option if offered this year from 8:15 – 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 – 4:45 p.m. daily at an additional cost of $25 per week per child. Sign up today for one, two, three or all four weeks of camp. Space is limited to 25 children per week. Children must be between the ages of 6 and 11 years old or entering first grade in the fall, 2008 to register. Faculty, staff and alumni of Niagara University are eligible for a 10% discount as are Castellani Art Museum members and patrons of Niagara University’s Theatre. Parents or guardians with more than one child enrolled during the same week of camp are also eligible for a 10% discount. Only one discount may be applied. Scholarships are available for families with children enrolled in the school lunch plan.
