Bo Pikas, a U.S. Army Veteran (1961-64) has purchasing management experience (1964-68) and completed a certificate in International Marketing from the U.S. Commerce Department (1972). He continues to be a part-time management and marketing consultant, with recent projects for a local manufacturing firm and a marketing project for a local religious congregation.

Mission Related Activity
For years, students have indicated that Bohdan Pikas BUS 460 capstone course has been one of the most valuable they have taken. The course mixes the concepts of corporate strategy with critical elements of the CBA mission: Relevance and Ethics. Cases are used to teach students how to manage ethically in the real world. Demonstrating his commitment to students, Bo works tirelessly with these seniors to ensure that their Leadership, oral and written communication skills are up to speed for the corporate world.
Bohdans own leadership is demonstrated by the fact that he was Chairman of the Commerce Department for nine years, unanimously re-elected three times. |
Intellectual Contributions and Professional Activities
