It provides an opportunity for teachers, researchers and practitioners interested in international accounting to exchange ideas, to network, and to discuss emerging issues. Past conferences have been held in Padua, Italy and Niagara Falls, Canada.

Niagara University's Center for Supply Chain Excellence 7th Annual Conference

The topic of this years conference is "Supply Chain Issues in a Global Economy - Are you Controlling your Costs?" The annual conference focuses on practical and timely topics related to supply chain management. The keynote speaker is Carol A. Ptak, Author, Educator and leading authority on Supply Chain Management. The conference is sponsored by APICS, ASQ, NAPM-B, and NCSCE. The format typically includes an afternoon panel session, dinner, and features a SCM related speaker. A special invitation is extended to alumni and to partner firms who hire our students, employ interns, or participate in professional development programs. Emerging Issues in International Accounting

The 2006 International Accounting Conference is the 8th Annual Conference organised by the Center for International Accounting and Research hosted by Niagara University. For the second time it is jointly organised by Niagara University and the University of Padova and it is to be held in Italy.

The 2006 Conference is intended to target international accounting with dedicated sessions to Corporate Accountability & family business and SME (small and medium enterprises). A broad range of topics are addressed such as: governance, voluntary disclosure, accounting principles, accountability processes, business ethics, MIS, HR and finance. We invite research papers on all international accounting and business topics focusing on corporations or SME. Papers selected for the conference will be those that identify latest issues, employ appropriate and rigorous methods to investigate the topics and present the material in an interesting fashion.
