Carol R. Sweeney

Dr. Sweeney joined the faculty in 1981 and teaches a variety of courses in plant biology, including medical botany, field botany and plant ecology. She is presently doing research on the flora of the Niagara Frontier region. Dr. Sweeney is also interested in the biosystematics of the snake plantSansevieria. She became the chairperson of the Biology department in 1992.
