We're looking for you to teach that special class
What do you mean "I can teach? I don't have a Ph.D". Do you know crafts, yoga, an instrument, a foreign language, plumbing, home repair, gardening and any other hidden talent or hobby? Then "Yes, you can teach". Community Education classes are not credit classes and therefore these credit-free classes can be a way for you to show off your talents and skills.
