Well I know it's been a while since I have posted a blog entry, so here is a little about what I have been doing since then.

This past summer, I participated in the Lake Como (Italy) work abroad program. Working at the Hotel Belvedere in Bellagio, Lake Como, Italy, has been one of the most amazing times of my life. Having been given the opportunity to travel during and after the program, it has taken me to places that I had only dreamed of going.

During the program, I traveled to Florence, Venice, Milan and Rome, Italy, Lugano, Switzerland, and Paris, France. After completing nine of the hardest weeks of work in my life thus far, I traveled to Barcelona and Madrid, Spain, for five days before heading back home.

The work abroad program taught me many unforgettable lessons that would not have been given to me if I had attended anywhere else. After coming back home, it was then the 10- day scramble to see as many of my friends as possible before coming back to school to be an orientation leader for the New Student Orientation.

I have heard some people on campus saying that in 20 years they are going to say that coming to NU has been the best decision they have ever made in their life — and I could not agree more!

Niagara provides that atmosphere that makes NU my home away from home. The things that I have been taught and the opportunities that they have provided are the things that will help me succeed in life after I graduate.

The internships during the summer and the different opportunities that have been provided to me throughout the school year are life changing. As an example, I have been given the opportunity to work the PGA U.S. Open in Pine Hurst, North Carolina!
