Bio

Josie returned to her hometown of Buffalo, NY in 2010 after a successful career in TV, film and theatre in Los Angeles. Recent local roles include those in the acclaimed all-female Macbeth with Shakespeare in Delaware Park; Noises Off, and Rock-n-Roll (directed by NU Theatre’s own Doug Zschiegner) at the Kavinoky; You Say Tomato, I Say Shut Up, at DCT in Rochester; and most recently, the critically acclaimed one woman show, Dai (Enough!), in which she played 11 characters at the Jewish Repertory Theatre of Buffalo.  Josie teaches Styles, Shakespeare, and On-Camera Acting here at Niagara, and has taught Auditioning for the Camera at NYU’s Stonestreet Studios in New York City while also coaching privately. Also a scenic painter, Josie has been lead painter on sets from the west to east coast, including Almost Maine, Pirates of Penzance and Curtains for NU Theatre.
