Bio
B.A. in Psychology and Political Science, York University, 1977 M.A. in Experimental Psychology, State University of New York at Geneseo, 1980 Ph.D. in Psychobiology, Purdue University, 1984
Joined Niagara University faculty in September of 1986 after postdoctoral work at the University of Illinois.
My general research interests have focused on the interactions between the neural and hormonal systems involved in stress and reproduction. This work has included an investigation of the effects of prenatal stress on the behavior and physiology of the offspring of rats. My most recent research project involved a study of positive changes in mood, cognition, and behavior during the menstrual cycle in human females.
The courses I teach include Introductory Psychology, Sensation and Perception, Theories of Motivation, and Psychology of Sex Differences.
