In February, in collaboration with the Castellani Art Museum, NU Theatre will present Art by Yasmina Reza, translated by Christopher Hampton.
Winner of the 1996 Olivier Award for Best Comedy and the 1998 Tony Award for Best Play, this comedy is about the value and aesthetics of art and the toll it takes on friendship when the line is crossed.
This production is directed by NU alumnus Paschal Frisina III, ’00, and will be performed at the Castellani Art Museum amidst a specially-curated art exhibit. Frisina directed The Credeaux Canvas on campus at the Castellani Art Museum for NU Theatre last spring, and we are delighted he is returning to direct this production.
