Amy Morgan, administrative assistant in the Office of Alumni Relations, has been named Employee of the Month for November 2009. A native of Grand Island, Morgan has been a member of the university community since June 2005 when she was hired as the office coordinator in alumni relations.
Morgan’s calm and friendly demeanor was mentioned prominently in a nomination. “I don't believe I have worked with an individual that consistently has a fresh, positive attitude,” it said. “If things aren't going well or there may be a difficulty, you never know it by the way Amy acts or treats people."
Another nomination highlighted Morgan’s dedication to her work. "She always does whatever it takes to get the job done,” the nomination stated. “The job is not just completed, it is done very well with little to no questions left to be asked."
Morgan and her husband Steve, the Niagara County project coordinator for BORDER Community Service, live on Grand Island. They have a son, Abram.

Hi, Amy! I just found this on Google. Congratulations! I just want to let you know I'm thinking of you. Life has been hectic, and I owe you a letter, which I hope to get to soon, but in the meantime I'll say "hi" and hope everything's well with you. Are you on Facebook? If so I'll send you a "friend" invitation! Best to you and Steve.
