Education That Makes a Difference

Exciting things are happening in Alumni Engagement!

We're putting a bigger focus on our Vincentian tradition of service. One of our first efforts in this regard will occur on Alumni Weekend, Oct. 11-13, 2013, when we will honor alumni who participated in NUCAP and/or BASIC during their years on Monteagle Ridge. We're also launching the addition of a community service component for all our returning alumni -- look for more information coming soon!

Related to this endeavor is a volunteer program that we're launching for alumni. Opportunities include helping to organize alumni events, working with the Admissions Office on college nights in your area, and sending out a "Niagara Note" to an accepted student in your area. More information will be available soon, but for more information in the meantime, contact Howard Morgan, associate director, alumni & volunteer engagement, 716.286.8772.

Nominations for the Niagara Legacy - Alumni of Distinction and the Niagara University ROTC Military Hall of Fame are now open.

The Alumni of Distinction is a program established in 2007 to celebrate alumni who have demonstrated outstanding accomplishments and excellence in their fields of endeavor; lived lives that mirror the Vincentian ideals of the university; and had a positive and lasting impact on society; while the ROTC Hall of Fame honors military science alumni for their professional achievements and their contributions to society in the example of St. Vincent de Paul.
