The mission of the Office of Institutional Advancement is to generate greater understanding, commitment and financial support from individuals, corporations, foundations and government agencies for the teaching, research and service missions of Niagara University.
The Institutional Advancement Office serves as the donor relations and fund raising center for the university. Departments within the office include development, advancement services, public relations, and alumni relations.
The Development Office coordinates the Niagara Fund which includes , Reunion, Parents Fund, Student Challenge, Phon-a-thon, Purple and White Club.
The Development Office acquires major gifts, including planned and estate gifts, gifts from the Heritage Society, life-income gifts and bequests.
Advancement Services processes all gifts and pledges to the university and maintains all donor records. It also oversees prospect research to support the efforts of all the development office departments. University events are also organized in this office.
