Thank you for your interest in Niagara University.  We appreciate you taking the time to visit our site and transfer page.

NU welcomes transfer students; we believe you are integral to the development of our student body and university community.  Each year about 250 students from two-year and four-year colleges from across the country choose to attend Niagara.

We invite you to explore this site…examine our impressive range of majors…review our admissions policies…analyze our generous transfer scholarships…then, when you’re ready for an Education That Makes A Difference , we encourage you to apply.  We could be holding a spot for you in our next class!

NU’s Application Process

BailoAt Niagara we have a rolling admissions policy, which basically means we do not have an application deadline.  Typically most transfer students will apply after February for the Fall semester and in October for the Spring semester.  We advise you to forward your application materials to us as soon as possible if you are interested in financial aid or housing.

Applying for transfer admission to our university is a simple process.  In order to have your file reviewed we require the following items.

*   Complete part 1 of the application.

*   Submit a $30.00 non refundable application fee, payable to Niagara University.  This should be attached to either the application or sent under separate cover.  Please make sure that your name (applicant’s name) is clearly written on the check or money order.

*   Make arrangements to have an official copy of your high school transcript and, if appropriate, an official copy of your high school equivalency test results (GED records) forwarded directly to the Office of Admissions.

*   Request that an official transcript from each college you have attended be forwarded directly to the admissions office.

That’s it!  Typically letters of recommendation and essays are optional, unless requested specifically by the department. Once we receive all necessary materials we can then process your application.

Please send your application materials to the following address:
