Work Study

Students that have been awarded a work-study or resident hall assistant position on campus can use the money they will earn over the semester to pay for part of their tuition cost. With the completed form we can set up an automatic withdrawal from their by-weekly pay checks. When we receive the completed form, we will set up a deferment of the estimated amount based on a percentage (10- 90%) of the work-study or resident hall assistant award amount.

If you sign up for the deferment and miss more then two deferment payments we might cancel your deferment because you are presumable not working at your position.

At the end of each semester, we will review each student deferment and compare it to the actual earning. Those that are not working enough to cover the deferment we initially set up will receive a lesser deferment in the following semester.

At the end of each academic year we will conduct a final review of the deferment and compare it to the actual earning and then close out all deferments of the year. This is generally completed in early June for the previous academic year.

Any student that is using this deferment option will not be eligible for a refund check because the deferment will need to be satisfied before we issue a refund back to the student.
