Bio

Mr. Ingham joined the faculty full-time in August 2011 after several years of serving as an adjunct instructor. He received a B.S. in accounting from the University at Buffalo and an M.B.A. from Canisius College. He is a certified public accountant, licensed in New York. Areas of interest for research include the global accounting and tax environment for small to mid-size companies.

In addition to his years of service at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Jim has had extensive experience in tax, accounting and general management with multinational companies, served as the vice president of finance and chief financial officer of the Mentholatum Company and, most recently, as chief financial officer of Meals on Wheels for Western New York. 

Jim has always felt a strong connection with Niagara University and looks forward to sharing his experiences and networking with students to enhance their learning and career opportunities.

Current Involvement

Mr. Ingham has been active as a trustee of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Western New York (including doing a 100-mile fundraising bike ride in Lake Tahoe) and as a member of the finance committee of St. Peter’s Church in Lewiston. Professional affiliations include the New York State Society of CPAs, the AICPA, Financial Executives Institute and the Institute for Management Accountants.
