I would encourage anyone with the opportunity to study abroad; I studied abroad in Australia for 6 months and consider it a life changing event. It really opens your eyes to see how other cultures view the world and life in general.

I have great memories of Freshman English 101 in 1979 with Fr. Tumulty at 8 a.m. He was always full of great energy, wisdom and knowledge and eager to help each and every student become great at "their craft."

I will never forget the roll call on the first day, first class, at Niagara - Fr. Tumulty had something great to say about each student and where they came from.

He always explained do the most difficullt assignment or task first and said that everything will fall into place for you.

Fr. Tumulty was always smiling and always made your day better just by chatting with him and you always felt re-energized coming out of his class and ready to take on the challenges of the day:)

Thank you, Fr. Tumulty, for your encouragement, positive / smiling spirit, and for the enthusiasm that made us me want to learn more.

I was blessed to have had you as one of my great professors at Niagara.

I will always have very fond memories of my English classes with Fr. Tumulty, especially during my freshman year at NU in 1983-84. His passion and enthusiasm for literature made me want to be more well-versed in the classics, and opened up my eyes to the beauty of the English language. I never experience a day in class when "Fr. Tums" didn't have a reason to smile...and make the rest of us smile as a result. He will truly be missed. Thank you, Fr. Tumulty, for your wisdom and encouragement in my first years at Niagara. I am grateful to have had you as one of my teachers.

Omg, Brandon. Legit heard you on Pandora. I'm in theory right now with Bri and Gabe looking at your commercial and blog; Bri thinks you're such a goober and she loves you, and can't wait to see you tomorrow for her tour of the NIAGARA campus! Anyways, peace out. Peace and blessings, peace and blessings.
